There aren't many things I've ever rated a 10 on IMDB, but this is an exception. It is truly perfect. It is such a privilege to see the original cast perform this, something I never thought I'd be able to see, and to be able to rewatch at any time. The cast is phenomenal, Diggs, Soo and Groff especially. It makes capturing a complex stage musical look simple when it's anything but - I've never seen a filmed staging done so well, it genuinely captures the feel of attending a live performance but supplemented with just the right amount of close ups and aerial shots. I hope the success of this will encourage the filming of more shows in a similar way, as someone who's unlikely to get back to Broadway any time soon!
